Recording

A full day of recording typically lasts 8 hours. My main goal is to get the band/artist feeling as comfortable as possible, and then capture the music as authentically as I can. Plenty of emphasis is often placed on capturing live room acoustics to enhance the body and depth of sound.

I offer a full range of services for bands / solo artists including recording, mixing and mastering. Whilst primarily a sound engineer, I am also available as a producer.

I am able to book in blocks of 4 hours. Sessions are from 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm and 7pm-11pm

My work method is flexible and I tend to accommodate the best I can for my clients. For example, if musicians are only available on certain days then we can work around that.

My standard process for full bands is to track everything live, plugged direct into the desk apart from the drums. This helps the drummer retain a live feel of the song whilst playing. After which all other instruments are replaced / overdubbed. I will then edit the tracks and begin mixing.

In any event, I want to be able to work with you and your budget to help you achieve a truly quality recording.
